The use of natural ingredients for hair care is preferable to the hair dye containing ammonia, peroxide, PPD and the like. The formaldehyde (usually used in perfumes and lacquers) and the preservatives (Diasolidinyl urea, DMDM hydantoin, Imidazolidiny, Quaternium-15, etc.), which may emit formaldehyde, cause itching and burning of the skin, irritation of the throat, eyes, and white lungs.Mandatory avoid such preservatives.

Perfumes, deodorants and toilet waters are produced mostly on a petroleum base. Use essential oils, aromatherapy and herbal extracts in their place.

    Nanoparticles in the cosmetics

According to a research made by British scientists, the nanoparticles used in the face creams and other cosmetic products may be harmful to the body. Large cosmetic giants regularly use in their production nanoparticles, thousand times thinner than a human hair, but 87% of the consumers are not aware of this fact, shows a British study. Of 67 companies asked whether their products are safe, only 17 responded and only 8 of them were willing to give information regarding the use of nanoparticles into the products.Scientists claim that because of their size the nanoparticles can penetrate through the protective barriers in the body – such as the brain and reach even to the baby that is developing in the womb of the mother. Furthermore, the nanoparticles of a certain chemical may have different properties from the larger particles of the same substance.

Therefore, dear ladies, be very careful when you buy cosmetics and all kind of products in general and thoroughly read the labels on the package. After all this is your health we are talking about.
